Our community is mainly rural and the population is approximately 22,000 with 87% of the population white, 10% black, and the other 3% is of mixed origin. Our department was incorporated in 1956. We have five schools (High School, Middle School, and 3 elementary schools) and two industrial parks.

Agency’s Basic Requirements and Application Process
To apply for employment with the West Deptford Police Department you must have a two-year college degree (or 60 college credits) or two years of police experience. You must fill out a Township application when we are hiring. We do not accept applications when we are not in the process of hiring.
